The series was broadcast on Star Plus from 6 December 2013. The series reached the end in August 2015 and aired its last episode on 11 August 2015.

Synopsis
Sipaari aka Sipaarata aka Siparaaraa (), also known as Siparee () (stylised, as “Sipaarata”) or “Tenderity” (), is a poor village boy who is an expert in twisting, shooting, and dunking eggs into other people’s mouths. He lives with his father and grandfather, while his older sister, Jiaolu is kind and thoughtful; her husband, Ao Yabao (), also known as “Rattail” (), is a kind farmer who does not like drinking; and his younger sister, Shishe (), is cheerful and kind.

To improve the looks of his village, he brings his sister Shishe and two other village girls to the Yabao’s farm to learn how to be beautiful. Aije () is a beautiful and rich farmer’s daughter, Boku is a tomboyish and clumsily-built farmer’s daughter, and a girl named Sai () is a poor farmer’s daughter from another village. The Boku, Sai, and Shishe fall in love with Ao, but he rejects them all.

Rattail pays Ao’s taxes to Jiaolu, but he eventually feels indebted to Ao. His mother claims that he is the son of the rich neighbour Wang (). Ao decides to leave. He tells Rattail and Jiaolu that he is leaving to return taxes that he has already paid; they can repay him later, and he does not really leave. When they try to do so, they find that he is no longer in the house.

Eight years later, Ao secretly lives in the village, but continues to pay taxes for Rattail. After many setbacks, the villagers become worried about the extra money. Jiaolu asks Rattail to return all of the money that Ao has paid. Ao also returns to the village and finally reveals his true identity. The villagers welcome him back, and he reconnects with Boku and Shishe.

Ao promises to stay in the village, but does not mean it. Ao lives with the villagers, and refuses to pay taxes for Jiaolu. To save his village from famine, they force him to work. Aije, knowing that Ao is actually the son of Wang, proposes
